How to create MNT also know as maintainer Print

In this article we will explain how to create an MNT’er

You need to create an MNT to have the ability to make changes in the RIPE database. Each object needs at least 1 MNT which will be ours and as a second we will add you as MNT on the RIPE objects so you can manage the objects yourself.

Once you have logged in you can go to the following link to access the RIPE database
https://apps.db.ripe.net/ should look like this.

Now we will start with creating a MNT’er.

1. Click on Create an Object on the left menu
2. Now you have drop down menu with the title: Object type
   1. Select role and maintainer pair
3. mnter: Now you can fill in the mnter this can be anything that you would like.
   1. This can be your nickname or company name
   2. This mnter will be visible on all the objects your manage 
   3. It must end with -mnt
4. Role: this 
5. Address: you need to fill in the full address
   1. Full street name and house number
   2. Zipcode and city
   3. Country
6. E-mail: this should be valid email address that works

Note: Don’t use any fake information that may cause your account will be suspended or termination.
